TAG SALES If you want more control of pricing your property then an auction provides you may want to consider a tag sale. The Auction process may not work well for everything. Our experience has been that decorative arts, some modern furniture and many household items may sell better at a tag sale. We approach the tag sale as an event. Using print ads and on-site signage, we bring buyers to the sale. We price and prepare the material. We use our staff to work on sale day. We bank the sale and we payover proceeds minus commission just like an auction.
Tag Sales have been a very good method for us when clients are downsizing and also have been quite successful for the appropriate estate circumstance. Modern furnishings and household items do better with a tag sale, while fine art and antiques should normally go to auction for the best results.
