Brian
Sample is a lifelong resident of Bloomington IN with family roots in Brown County. Always looking
for a challenge and an uncanny desire to try new things led Brian into many diverse life experiences. As
a young man he worked in the college textbook industry, traveling extensively buying and selling books.
Early jobs with both building and plumbing contractors formed a path built around the building and contracting
industry. Brian was a National Sales Mgr working with a nationwide team of Independent reps selling
Sealants and Adhesives and developing a product line for an emerging company. Formerly a partner in
Woodlore Renovations and owner of Alpha Design & Display Inc, Brian developed an extensive knowledge of
construction, maintenance and fine craftsmanship. ADDI built custom Trade Show, POP and other
displays and exhibits including trailer and vehicle customizations for mobile and traveling
displays. Brian also managed an extensive sign and graphics department for ADDI. Along
the way Brian developed a love of Art, Antiques and Collectibles, spending a great deal of his spare time
attending shows and auctions, learning about values, and buying and selling. Having developed a passion
to participate in the industry he became a licensed Auctioneer in the late 90’s. Brian also
attended numerous classes regarding Personal Property Appraisal and attained a Realtor license along the
way. Brian’s extensive knowledge and life experiences have helped his Real Estate clients make
wise choices regarding their real estate investments both as buyers and sellers. Brian has
completed extensive personal property appraisals of gifts to universities and institutions, estates, family
dispersals, tax value, bankruptcy and more. Brian has worked with fine art, antiques and collectibles,
business assets, fleet vehicles and equipment, household contents, artifacts and much more. Brian is a
Certified Estate Specialist providing many services for estate professionals, institutions, the legal
community, trust & asset managers, seniors and families. Brian has conducted auctions for clients
including real estate, Medicaid sell downs, estates, business liquidations and much more, including many
internet only events for special items. Along the way Brian has become a professional negotiator and
mediator helping clients solve problems and complete difficult projects. Brian’s clients will tell
you that he always goes the extra mile on every project he gets involved in.
